The FOA Foundation has expanded and now has sites in Ohio Counties: Dayton, Tri-County (Darke, Miami and Sidney), Clark, Van Wert and Auglaize and Onslow County, North Carolina. The sites hold support meetings for the entire family where they are educated as well as able to share their experiences about addiction that allows everyone to learn.
We continue to provide outreach through out our site areas.
In 2023, FOA will be celebrating their 10th annual Rally 4 Recovery. It will be held on Sunday, August 27th at Dayton's Downtown Square from 1p - 6p.
New in 2023 is FOA-Link. This is a help line to assist families in questions and services/treatment in addiction.
Also new is the Kinship Care Program to assist families that get children suddenly placed in their home due to addiction. There is a system put in place for licensed foster homes, but there is not an immediate system for the family member who suddenly takes on a child. FOA hopes to raise money to help immediately in these situations.
